The Scourge is actually a song of hope although most people wouldn't pick up on that with their first listen. This was written 6-months before the outbreak and its surreal to see the thoughts behind the lyrics playing out in the real world. By staying locked inside our minds, humans have a tendency throughout history to escalate beyond reason. Stay calm, live and work together, we will get past this.
